Have you not got enough work already? With my current rankings on Google, plus word of mouth, I have a good amount of SEO work.
But then again, I am running an SEO training seminar in Auckland New Zealand May 2008, and such a marketing ploy might be an idea.

I have plenty of work and this is not a marketing ploy whatsoever!
I enjoy giving back and try to help people who just can’t seem to get their sites into the tops of the engines.
I get a wonderful feeling knowing that I could help. I do not offer training as of yet but do have my book coming out next month.
Also, when I do the optimization I can add it to my success stories and the web site owner will give me some excellent feedback.
It’s just an all around wonderful feeling. I feel good going to bed at night knowing that I have helped someone somehow succeed based on my efforts and knowledge.

Great finding another person that has the same motivations.
One of the things I am known to say - is that I want utopia, World Peace. A state where every website ranks where it properly deserves to rank and where website owners are getting the traffic they deserve.
So many are getting the traffic they deserve = nothing, because of bad seo.
So I train web developers, advertising agencies… spreading the love. I just so hate it seeing websites with many things done wrong.

I think it’s a great marketing idea. However, one might wonder why the site of a SEO specialist has a Google pagerank of only 2…?

The reason for a low PR is because I recently started adding to my personal blog. As many of you know, client’s are always first. This means, when I get time away from my clients I add to my personal blog.
